How a partnership with Klein helped Jennifer Muntz build her collector base, reach international buyers, and get back to the studio.
A few years ago, Jennifer Muntz was packing and shipping her own prints, managing every order herself, and losing studio time to logistics. Today her editions ship internationally, her Manchester Art Fair presentation sold out, and she is represented by Klein alongside some of the UK's most exciting artists. This is how that happened.
When Jennifer first approached us, she had a growing following, real collector demand, and work that deserved a wider audience. What she didn't have was the infrastructure to service it. That's where we came in.
Jennifer is a contemporary British landscape painter based in North Warwickshire. Her richly layered oil and acrylic scenes are often anchored by a sun or moon, playing with light to create emotive settings with a profound sense of depth and calm. As a direct descendant of Laura Muntz-Lyall, the celebrated Canadian Impressionist, and of Elizabeth Wood Muntz, who exhibited alongside Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore, Jennifer has painting in her DNA. As a practising artist for the last fifteen years, Jennifer balances her career with raising a family and working from her converted stable studio. Every hour in the studio matters, which is why handing over production and fulfilment to a partner she trusts has been transformative.

Today, her editions are produced and dispatched internationally through our Manchester studio. Orders come in automatically through our integration with her website; we print, pack, and ship with her own branding. Every print goes through a proofing process; we work closely with Jennifer on colour accuracy until she is completely happy before a single edition goes into production. The result is entirely her work, just without the logistics, so she can spend her time creating new work and building her audience, rather than packing orders.

Jennifer uses a timed drop model rather than a permanent open shop, an approach that has worked brilliantly for her practice. Her collectors follow her closely on social media, and the build-up to each drop creates genuine anticipation. The limited window incentivises collectors to act. It also reinforces the scarcity and value of each edition, gives us a defined production window to prepare and fulfil for quick turnaround to buyers, and generated clear data on what sold - information that shapes future drops.
For this latest drop, we went into production the moment the shop opened, and her collectors received every print beautifully presented with branded packaging, dispatched internationally without Jennifer needing to process a single order.
As well as handling her print production and fulfilment, we represent Jennifer at art fairs, managing everything from framing and logistics to stand production and sales on the day. Jennifer's presentation at Manchester Art Fair sold out and created a waiting list for new works. We are pleased to say that she is confirmed for future fairs with us, with several upcoming applications in progress.
