We’re going to Miami
This December, Klein Editions makes its Art Miami debut. After a wonderful response at Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary earlier this year, we’re bringing new original works by six of our artists to one of the most established contemporary art fairs in the US, where leading galleries from 25 countries gather for Miami Art Week.
You’ll find us at Booth AM537.
From our studio to the fair
In the studio, the new works are taking shape: photographed, framed and readied for their journey across the Atlantic. Over the coming weeks we’ll be sharing first looks at the work and the stories behind it.
Our Artists
Here’s a first glimpse of the artists we're bringing:

Alison Friend is a British artist known for her whimsical, anthropomorphic animal portraits, combining the techniques of the Old Masters with a distinctly British sense of humour. Her characters, often caught in moments of mischief, indulgence or quiet contemplation, have won her an international following, with exhibitions including Frieze Seoul, Frieze Los Angeles and CONTEXT Art Miami. For Miami, she’s painting new original oil paintings, alongside Klein Editions exclusives. Notify me about Alison’s work

Tim Fowler’s botanical practice has its roots in the plants carried across the Atlantic during the transatlantic slave trade, species that travelled through history and displacement and took root in new soils. Working in acrylics, oils, spray paint, pastel and graphite, he builds richly layered canvases in a signature palette of brilliant pinks and electric blues. The result is work that is visually joyful and historically weighted. Notify me about Tim’s work

Jen Orpin paints the places most of us only pass through. Over the past decade she has made hundreds of paintings of motorway bridges, slip roads and brutalist infrastructure, finding quiet grandeur in the landmarks of everyday journeys. Based in Manchester, her work is held in the collections of Manchester Art Gallery and The New Art Gallery Walsall, and has been selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition three years running. Notify me about Jen’s work

Jennifer Muntz carries painting in her DNA. A direct descendant of the Canadian Impressionist Laura Muntz-Lyall, she represents the fourth generation of artists in her family. After reading Contemporary Art at Oxford Brookes and working at Christie’s and Bonhams, she now paints full-time from a converted stable studio in North Warwickshire. Her richly layered landscapes, often anchored by a sun or moon, are shaped by a fascination with light. Notify me about Jennifer’s work

Steph Morris draws by hand what most people would assume is a photograph. A British hyperrealism artist working entirely in graphite pencil, she renders iconic trainers and the fashion objects of modern culture in extraordinary detail, each texture, stitch and reflection built up over many hours. Born in Manchester, she has been commissioned by adidas, Nike, Reebok, New Balance and Selfridges, with exhibitions in New York, Los Angeles and Tokyo. Notify me about Steph’s work

Bec Kirby is a Manchester based artist, who's practice traverses painting and textiles, exploring the uncanny qualities of domestic apparatus, everyday objects and sensory experience. Drawing on the visual language of contemporary life, she examines the objects and materials that define our everyday surroundings, with a particular interest in mass production, industrial processes and the relationship between the physical and digital image.
